From Thursday 1 September the manufacturing and importing of 60W incandescent luminaires has been given an EU-wide ban

Kings College London, in collaboration with EcovertFM have recently opened their new reception and cafeteria area at the Guy's Hospital site. PhotonStar installed a fully LED lit solution operated with PhotonStar's new innovative LEDsmart controls. The ultra efficient LED project offered an 80% energy saving through source efficacy and its dedicated LED control system.
Newly launched LUX Magazine selected 14 of the market leading LED replacements for halogen downlights, and tested them independently at 42 Partners in Cambridge. Our Laser Lite with XPG engine was voted "Best Halogen Replacement" and awarded four stars.
This week sees the final of the prestigious Coutts Growing Business Awards in London.
Leading architectural practice PRP will be showcasing three "before" and "after" refurbishments of common UK house structures with mock ups constructed at the BEST show in Birmingham in October. The first annual Lighting Industry Awards, co-ordinated by the Lighting Association were presented at a gala dinner on 14th July. Industry peers from government, energy companies and universities examined the entries to decide the final winners.
