PhotonStar LED has been awarded the Thames Valley Business Award for Innovation and Technology.
At a gala dinner on 20th April 2009, James McKenzie - founder of PhotonStar LED proudly received the award on behalf of the team at PhotonStar. Presented by Ray Mears, this award acknowledges the ground breaking technological developments, innovative flair and commercial success that the company has achieved since its inception in 2007.
After receiving the award James said "As an engineer, I am pleased to be part of a team that designs and manufactures a product that will never end up in landfill.
We genuinely assist businesses and individuals in reducing both electricity costs, maintenance costs and their carbon footprint, in the meantime creating high quality, green collar jobs here in the UK. Despite tough economic times, PhotonStar continues to experience 20% to 30% month on month growth - an achievement that is a result of excellent technological development and the cooperation of a hard working and specialised team."
