• Halcyon chosen for RBS Go Green Innovation Challenge

  
  PhotonStar LED Group Plc (AIM: PSL, "PhotonStar" or "the Group"), the British designer and manufacturer of smart LED lighting solutions, has been selected to install Halcyon in a Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc (“RBS”), the international banking and financial services company, building as a part of its Go Green initiative. 
   

• New dementia-friendly ward at St Mary’s Hospital expands dementia care improvement programme

  
  A new ward specially designed to support dementia patients has been opened at St Mary’s Hospital in Paddington, part of Imperial College Healthcare NHS Trust. It’s one of a programme of developments to improve care and support for patients with dementia, their carer’s and families.

  PhotonStar LED Group plc has been named in the Solent SME 100 for 2014. The listing features the top SME companies in the region by turnover below a £10m ceiling, with PhotonStar named as number 22.

   

• PhotonStar announce half year results

  

  PhotonStar LED Group Plc (AIM: PSL, "PhotonStar" or “the Group”), the British designer and manufacturer of smart LED lighting solutions, announces its half year results for the six months ending 30 June 2014.

  Highlights:

  • Halcyon^TMdomestic systems now shipping in beta form, expected to contribute to revenues in the second half of 2014.
  • All technical milestones for grant from Department of Energy & Climate Change (DECC) Entrepreneurs Fund completed - underpins the Halcyon^TM smart circadian retrofit LED lighting system.
  • Total gross profit margin slightly higher at 39.4%(H1 2013: 39.1%).
  • Raised £2.2m through placing of shares, as announced on 18 July 2014
